‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal that Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) will leave Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) when she finds out that he kept the secret about her mother, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) was behind blowing the whistle on Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and ratting them out to the SEC.
You know how secrets work on soaps. A character does something underhanded and sneaky, and they get away with it for a while (In Nina’s case, for what feels like an eternity), but then someone finds out about their duplicitousness.
The character who uncovers the secret happens to be someone who will use it to their advantage. They will keep the secret until it causes the most damage. This deception often leads to blackmail and secrets being kept. All leading up to a big reveal…..
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Michael is Too Ruthless for Willow
GH decided that the character Nina would go down this path with her son-in-law blackmailing her. Michael is ruthless, especially when it comes to protecting his family.
But is he too ruthless for someone as sweet and pristine as Willow? When Willow finds out Michael kept this big secret, she will be very angry with her husband.
Willow will be furious, especially since she has been building a bond with her mother, letting her into her heart when even her subconscious doesn’t trust her. All those dreams with Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) warning her about Nina will finally make sense.
Willow and Michael have been through a lot together, but even someone as good-hearted as Willow has a limit. From the custody battle with Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) to cancer, they have been through hell and back.
However, if she ever forgives him, Willow will take a long time to forgive Michael for keeping this secret from her. She will lose faith in her husband, even though he will try to explain that he was trying to protect his family from Nina. It will backfire big time.
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) should know the truth, as much as Willow needs to know, and Michael should have been the one to tell them.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: It is Only a Matter of Time
It is only a matter of time before the two of them find out; even if Nina seems to be getting away with it now, the ramifications of her actions will come back to haunt her.
Michael should know better by now. Willow seemed to bring out a kinder, gentler Michael, but a leopard never changes their spots. He will lie, blackmail, keep secrets, and then justify his behavior by saying he did it for his family.
Willow will not confront Michael’s deception once the truth comes out. She will run the other way from both Nina and Michael.
What will be even worse for Willow is that Michael uses the secret to manipulate Willow’s relationship with her mother and limit Nina’s relationship with her grandchildren. That will be where she draws the line.
It may seem like Michael and Willow have endured a lot and come out stronger, so nothing will break them up. However, Michael’s betrayal has gone too far, even for Willow.
