‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal that Selina Wu has friends in high places trying to help her take down Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
Selina Wu may have a secret alliance with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), and the two may have plans to take Sonny down and split his territory right down the middle.
Sonny has tentatively, albeit foolishly, allowed Selina Wu to bring shipments through his territory; if she agreed not to move drugs through, the two would co-exist in peace.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Selina and Sonny Will Clash
However, Selina is about to be in big trouble with Sonny because she knows Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) was using Sasha Corbin’s (Sofia Mattsson) money to pay off her gambling debt.
Gladys should have gone to Sonny immediately with the truth. Instead, she greedily chose to continue to play poker at Selina’s invitation.
Sonny will undoubtedly deal with Gladys, but Selina still messes with Sonny’s family. He might tell Selina the deal is off.
Selina will not be happy. Then again, Selina may have known this was coming and has already gone to Cyrus with a proposition to snatch up Sonny’s territory.
Wu also does not have the backroom card game anymore, either. Selina’s poker games were very lucrative for her.
This card game could also be why Selina wanted the Savoy all to herself. She wanted to remain a force to be reckoned with in Port Charles.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Selina is Running Out of Options
Selina cannot collect from Deception since their assets are frozen pending court. That doesn’t help her bank account, either.
Selina is a woman who is always looking for ways to make money. She may set her sights on the goldmine that is Corinthos’s territory.
Selina may also contemplate bringing drugs into Port Charles to make some fast cash. She doesn’t seem to be above such shady dealings, and if one door closes, you can bet Selina will open another.
Another secret that Selina may be keeping is that she has the judge in the SEC case in her pocket. Cyrus is likely involved, too.
They could have a deal that the judge would send Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) to prison, giving him a ridiculous sentence, thinking Carly Spencer would roll over on her ex-husband in an attempt to free Drew.
Killer Miller (aka Diane Miller, played by Carolyn Hennesey) said the judge sought a higher position. Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) is the perfect person to help Diane determine the motive behind Drew’s outrageous sentence.
Robert has firsthand experience with the Wu crime family. In the 80’s, he was involved in a case pertaining to them. He could easily sniff out Ms. Wu and her intentions.
Cyrus and Selina could be in deep, strategically planning how to procure Sonny’s turf. If Sonny finds out about Selina trying to edge him out, he could seek revenge, which will be an all-out mob war.
It would be interesting to see Selina and Sonny go up against each other after all this time of co-existing peacefully, even if the peace between them was dysfunctional at best.
