General Hospital spoilers for September 22nd reveal Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) are stressing. Meanwhile, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) has no idea how bad he failed, but he’s about to find out. Plus, Molly Lansing-Davis (Brooke Anne Smith) gets news. Here’s what you need to know.
General Hospital spoilers: Family drama
First, General Hospital spoilers reveal Curtis voices his reservations. We guess he and Portia will discuss the trip Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) is taking with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez). And it seems Portia will put on a brave face about it. In the promo, Curtis asks Portia, “Are you really as calm about this as you seem?” Obviously, the answer is that she’s not and she’ll likely end up ranting to Curtis about the situation. But it is ultimately up to Trina and we hope she’s smart enough not to be plotting some way to mess up the trip.
As you’d expect, Spencer and Trina are filled with anticipation about getting away from it all. As they should. This town is full of drama, so who wouldn’t want to get away? We’re looking forward to seeing them in a new environment just having fun for once.
General Hospital spoilers: Big-time fail
So, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is full of hope after getting a visit from Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy). Now, she’ll learn a bit more about the situation with that judge. But she’s apparently also a bit cautious, as she’ll ask, “Most importantly, is it enough to ger Drew out of Pentonville?” We think they better move fast on that one, or it might be a moot point.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Drew is targeted. Specifically, two men approach Drew while he’s in the shower, obviously under Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) orders. He might want to get rid of Drew after what he overheard, but we do believe this will be more of a scare him situation to stop the questions. Drew did save his life, and we do think Cyrus does have gratitude for that. So we can see him just having Drew hurt enough to discourage any further digging.
General Hospital spoilers: Moment of truth?
Finally, we know Molly and TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) have been waiting on news about their surrogate. It seems the wait is over, and it sounds kind of ominous at first. The promo shows Molly asking someone on the phone, “Why do you need to see me right away?” Clearly a way to delay the news to make the character (and audience) sweat a bit. Well, some of the audience. We’re not really caring at this point after the way Molly’s behaved. But it seems any stress Molly might go through between the phone call and a meeting will be for nothing, as she gets welcome news. Sounds like a baby is definitely on the way.
