‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers find that star Steve Burton might be a veteran daytime television actor, but there are still some things that he struggles with in front of the cameras. As a matter of fact, the actor, who is best known for his role as Jason Morgan, admits that he had a hard time keeping things together when his character took the stand at the hearing to determine Drew’s mental competence. Here’s what he has to say.
Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, the actor says that being on the stand was definitely a scene that he won’t forget. As many ‘General Hospital’ fans can recall, it was Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) who had Drew Cain’s memories implanted in his brain, making the case even more complicated for everyone.

Steve told the publication, “Jason was on the stand and Kin was in front of me and was asking me questions. He makes up lines and just throws stuff out all the time to try and get a reaction out of people and Michael Knight (Martin Grey) almost lost it, like, he’s just dying laughing.” The actor further adds, “No one could see him but me because I was staring straight at him. I was so close to losing it and he was already losing it. And then Kin’s doing this thing and I’m trying so hard not to laugh, like, ‘Come on, dude. What are you doing?’ To save the scene, he relied on his go-to method: pain infliction!”
With that said, it looks like a lot of people would love to have the same work “challenges” that Steve Burton faces on an everyday basis! It’s no wonder why the cast of ‘General Hospital’ get along so well. They have great chemistry both on and off-screen!
