‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers suggest that Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) has come up with a crazy plan to try to save Jabot from Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson). Is her plan really going to work or it going to cause heartache and pain all around?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Rift Between Siblings
Y&R’s Ashley has had enough of Diane. She wants her out of her brother Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) life. Jack is in love with Diane. He has asked her to move in with him and marry him right away. He has also given her an important position at Jabot as Chief Talent Officer.
This infuriated Ashley. She doesn’t trust Diane and she doesn’t want her brother to go through the heartbreak that he experienced before. Ashley is trying to do everything she can to break them up and get Diane out of Jabot.
She tried to stage a coup to get Jack removed as CEO, but she did not have the family support she needed to oust him.
Now she has made the announcement that she is leaving Jabot to start a new company with her boyfriend, Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John). It appears that legally she will be able to take her patents and some of her products, and this will really hurt the family company.
Diane, Jack and Jack’s brother Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) really want to figure out how to stop her and how to keep Jabot intact.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: A New Plan
Diane has a new plan of attack, to keep Ashley from destroying Jabot. She wants Billy Abbott to be a plant. Diane suggests that Billy can act like he is starting to side with Ashley against Jack. This will enable him to find out what they are up to. He may also be able to determine the best way to stop them.
Jack is reticent about this plan, worried that Billy may really turn on Jack. Billy gets frustrated that Jack doesn’t believe in him. But this does make us wonder if this really is the best choice.
Will Jack get convinced that Bill really is siding with Ashley, or will he be able to stay the course in this ruse? This all seems a little dicey. What do you think? Is this really the best thing they could come up with?
