‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Facing the Music
Carly Spencer and Drew Cain were turned into the SEC by an anonymous tip. They got the news about a possible merger and Carly acted on it by buying some shares. This illegal move is what landed them in hot water. The merger never happened, and they did not end up making any money on the deal.
However, the feds moved in to investigate. They really wanted to make a deal with Carly if she would turn in evidence against her ex-husband, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Carly was not willing to do this though. She was planning to fight against the charges and take whatever punishment she received.
Drew knew that there was no way out and that they would be punished. He did not want Carly to go to prison. She has her daughter, Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Spears) to care for. While Drew also has a child, Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante), she is being raised by her other Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco).
Her boyfriend, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), is also very involved in Scout’s life. Drew decides that he needs to take the rap for the two of them. He is going to plead guilty to keep Carly out of prison.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Surviving it All?
GH’s Drew works out a deal with the prosecution. He will serve six months in Spring Ridge Prison. It is a minimum-security facility. But the judge has other ideas. He wants to throw the book at Drew.
Drew ends up with a three-year sentence at Pentonville Penitentiary and there is a little he can do about it. His lawyer, Zeke Robinson (Gavin Houston) will file an appeal, but he won’t be able to immediately.

As she talks to Sam McCall about the situation, Sam points out that Carly has a few things on her side to help her make it: her iron will, her freedom, and her home.
When she says this, Carly gets an idea about how to approach her situation. What do you think Carly has in mind? How will she handle this situation?
