‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal that there is great news for Willow Corinthos (Katelynn MacMullen) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). They have been given a new lease on life. How will that impact their future and the choices that they make?
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Outstanding News
GH’s Willow has been battling leukemia. She has been in isolation because she is immunocompromised. To try to treat her leukemia, she has received a bone marrow transplant. They have been waiting to see if the procedure worked. TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) arrives to give them an update.
TJ tells Michael and Willow that the counts are great. The bone marrow transplant has done its job and Willow is improving. As long as she takes her medication and keeps the protocols the hospital gives her, she should be able to recover from home. They will continue to monitor her and make sure she is healing.
This news is incredible for them. While they are optimistic and excited, they recognize that they have to be careful. Williow needs to stay away from anyone who is sick.
They have to keep their bubble small, allowing only a few people to have access to her. It is important not to go backwards after making such great strides against the cancer.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Interesting Request
As Michael and Willow discuss their plans and who will be “on the list”, Willow makes an interesting request. This could indicate that Willow has had a definite change of heart since she has been in the hospital.
Willow notes that Michael may not be too happy, but she wants to allow Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) to be able to visit her.
Michael and Willow have had a very difficult relationship with Nina. In fact, Willow recently noted that she will never be able to forgive Nina.
But she did learn that during her time in the hospital, when everything was touch and go, Nina never left her side. She was a constant presence there, doing all she could to support her daughter’s recovery.
While Willow hasn’t wanted to have anything to do with Nina, could this mean that she is softening now? Does she want to try to understand Nina and give her a chance?
