As it turns out, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are not signing any mega-million deals with Dior. A spokesperson for the couple said that rumors about the potential partnership are not true.
Dior also doesn’t seem to be happy about the rumor and the claims of Meghan being the ‘Duchess of Dior’, saying, “nonplussed as to how the story came about”.
This comes just days after the streaming giant Spotify ended it’s $25 million deal with the couple for not meeting “productivity benchmarks required to receive the full payout from the deal”.
Since the deal with Spotify was inked in 2020, Markle only gave them one series of her podcast ‘Archetypes’, which only had 12 episodes in it!
“Royal commentator Kinsey Schofield has reacted to French fashion brand Dior flatly denying reports of a $US20 million sponsorship deal with Meghan Markle.
Ms Schofield told Sky News Australia host Rita Panahi the Duchess of Sussex hates being “humiliated and rejected”.”

Spotify executive Bill Simmons who hosts ‘The Ringer’ is not pleased about the lack of content and lashed out at the couple, calling them “f–king grifters.” This isn’t the first time that Simmons has had something to say about the couple, either, as he previously slammed them for being too whiney.
While Meghan and Harry frequently wear Dior designs at events, it appears that that will not be enough for the company to come into partnership with them, and apparently their track record may have something to do with that.
It would just be a poor financial decision for the company and we can’t blame them. If Spotify paid $25 million for 12 lousy podcast episodes, we can’t expect the couple to hold up their end of a deal with Dior.
This just continues to pile on for the couple and it looks like they may have to start developing some real world skills soon.
