‘The Young And The Restless’ spoilers show that the series has been a little dull lately to be honest. The back and forth between Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Ashley Abbott (Peter Bergman) has become a little tiresome to be honest.
Not to mention the endless charades of Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) that endlessly go on and on. It feels like this current storyline arrived just in time.
It seems like the writers were going back to their roots with a storyline about Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and it certainly seems to be working! Not only are fans responding well to the story, but it feels like it may be saving the the entire show.
‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Just In The ‘Nick’ Of Time… Did This New Storyline Save The Show?
Over the last few years, the series has fallen behind and viewers have not been shy about letting the writer’s know.
It seems they still love the show, but wanted to see something better come of it, and this is just the storyline that can do it. Not only is it nostalgic, reminds us of when Nick and Sharon were together, but could also lead to a reunion between the two love birds!
This little boost is exactly what the show needed, and taking the storyline back to a classic thriller with lots of dramas and a short break from the love triangles and boring business drama is exciting. The actors and characters are great, but we’re tired of seeing them in an office or a coffee shop.
Let them out and let’s see some real-life situations. Not to say there haven’t been good moments, like Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) story about mental health… but overall, it seems to have been lacking.
This is exactly what they needed and fans are loving it. Of course, we are worried about what may happen to Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster)!
What do you think? Would they actually kill of Faith Newman or Sharon Rosales? If Nick gets ahold of Cameron, what do you think he’ll do to him? Let us know in the comments below.
