‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) has undoubtedly lied herself into a position and won’t be able to get out of it easy.
She faked her own death, murdered Jeremy Stark (James Hyde), and was foolish enough to convince her children she was still alive, thinking it wouldn’t be an issue.
Unfortunately, it has generated even more problems for her children. Summer Newman (Allison Lanier), for example, risks losing her marriage by concealing her mother’s secret.
It’s all insane, but by not informing her husband, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), important information that might lead to his mother, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), being released from jail!
On the other hand, Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) couldn’t keep lying to everyone and had to tell the truth about what he knew.
He went to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and informed him that Phyllis was still alive. As a result, Jack and Kyle decided to explore the motel room without informing the authorities.

The greater concern is how Phyllis will respond now that she knows her own son was the one who sold her out. She could probably control her feelings if it were the cops, but knowing she trusted Daniel and he revealed her secret to everyone will surely shatter her.
Phyllis won’t be able to forgive her son for giving her up, in my opinion, if and when she learns the truth. She put a lot of trust in her children, which turned out to be a terrible error on her behalf.
She’ll forgive her own son in the end, but I think it’ll be difficult for her right now, especially if and when she is found and goes to jail. There doesn’t appear to be a way out for Phyllis, and everything is pointing to her being apprehended.
Daniel did the right thing, although I know many Phyllis fans are furious with him right now.
