It turns out that there is something worse than being abandoned in one of the most hostile settings on Earth without any food, water, or clothing and it involves a survivor’s penis and an open flame!
Sam Mouzer of the UK, who is competing on Discovery’s “Naked And Afraid,” refers to his penis as his “little soldier’s helmet,” and hot coal from a fire that is being used for heat and survival jumps out and lands on the tip of his penis, causing a terrible crisis to occur. Sam and Lilly, another participant, are lying naked next to the flame when Sam suddenly cries out in pain.

After spending 21 days in the American Wild West, Sam concerns that his little soldier will appear like it was shot with buckshot. Fortunately, medical personnel was on hand to relieve any suffering. Sam manages to maintain his sense of humor throughout the medical staff’s work.
Sam and Lilly are put through the wringer during 3 weeks in New Mexico, according to Discovery, where they struggle with freezing temperatures, scorpion stings, and being doused in snake poop. The new season begins on Sunday and will hopefully feature much less private burns!
Luckily, it appears that he is doing well and was able to get through the immediate pain while laughing about it. That seems to be one of the worse things that could possibly happen while you are naked, and poor Sam had to experience it firsthand. We can only imagine the pain and fear he must have experienced and we are in no rush to ever truly know.
