The news once again took centre stage this week after an interview with the American woman at the centre of the allegations took part in an interview with the BBC. In that interview, she claimed that she was telling the truth, before pleading with the British public to support her and bring consequences for the prince’s actions.

The news was broke by British newspaper The Sun. In an exclusive interview with the paper, an insider reportedly told them that ‘There are now genuine concerns over sex abuse campaigners planning to be part of the crowds to jeer the Duke publicly.’ They went onto claim that the world’s media would be attracted to the event for all the wrong reasons, and there could be a damaging effect on the security of the royals attending the events. The insider spilt the beans not long after it was revealed that Prince Charles demanded answers from his brother when they met at Sandringham Palace on Wednesday.
During this meeting, it was expected that Charles would effectively end the royal career of his brother and tell him to keep a low profile. The future King was also furious about his decision to conduct an interview and instead suggested that he step away from the limelight. He was also expected to tell his brother that he would not be welcomed back into the family due to the shame that he has brought on it.
