Now that Sister Wives‘ family, The Browns have pretty much all split, it looks as if there has been quite a shift in the world of polygamist marriages. The Browns are not the only one who have been separated, but now it looks as if the Colliers, a family we have seen on the show, are now all split up and going their separate ways.
‘Sister Wives’ Spoilers: What Happened to the Colliers?
When fans of Sister Wives heard that Christine Brown was leaving her marriage, they were shocked. No one ever thought that she would be the first wife to leave Kody Brown. Christine was very close friends with Vicki Collier, who was married to Nathan Collier. They appeared on the show in 2015 and they are from Montana.
‘Sister Wives’ Spoilers: Another Polygamist Family Splits After Browns’ Marriage Falls To Pieces
Nathan, at that time, was seeking another wife to add to their polygamist marriage. They had some legal battles over marriage licenses and polygamy as a whole. When we saw them on the show, he had two wives, Christine and Vicki, and much like Christine Brown, it looks as if Christine Collier has finally left Nathan.
Nathan told Kody that he wanted to be in a polygamist marriage for similar reasons as his. He grew up in the LDS church and strongly followed the teachings of Joseph Smith. He knew that Smith practiced polygamy and that was why he wanted to have multiple wives. He told Kody, “I believe that if you remove social expectation out of the equation, polygamy’s completely natural.”
Even though Christine Collier left the marriage back in July 2022, it looks as if she could be dating again. It seems that she isn’t going to be involved in a polygamist marriage again. Much like Christine Brown, things seem to be much better for her now that she only has one man in her life.
The Browns and the Colliers are not the only ones that have ended their marriages. It looks as if Nathaniel Richard’s marriage has ended as well. It is clear that there are some things going on in the religion that needs to be seen. These wives are standing strong and breaking their bonds with these men.
Their female fans are very proud of them for letting go of these horrible bonds. We will continue to keep an eye on all of these marriages and we are pretty sure that these women will never want to be involved in polygamy again.
