With all the bad press Kanye West has been getting lately you would think that there wouldn’t be much more to say about him but oh, you would be wrong.
Not only has he opened a school that is rumored to be a cult, made anti-Semitic remarks, and forced his ex wife to buy his old clothing off the s cond hand market so that his oldest daughter has mementos of him laying around, now it would seem that he even made working at Yeezy a living hell as well, at least according to one designer in particular.
Kanye West forces designer to work in extremely adverse conditions
One designer who anonymously spoke to Rolling Stone magazine, had been working on his Yeezy line said that the artist forced her to sit on the floor during a meeting that lasted for hours, stating that she didn’t deserve to sit at the table.
The staffers at both Yeezy and Adidas, a partnership that lasted for nine years, said that Kanye would often play what they called mind games against them. Sometimes he would praise staffers, then at other times he would turn on the very staffers that he had previously praised and vice versa, they said that they work environment that was created was very, very toxic.
Why did West force this staffer to sit on the floor during a meeting? Because she disagreed with something Ye said and he decided that as a result she did not deserve to sit at the table. It is not said why the staffer disagreed with him but that could have been any number of reasons why, the former employees said that West also showed them explicit pictures of former wife Kim Kardashian West which is just awkward if you think about it.
Who wants to see their boss’s wife nude? Itt ook them long enough but Adidas finally terminated the contract between the rapper and their brand, it was only after anti-Semitic remarks that West made on social media that Adidas took action though.
Since then they have said that they will not comment on anything that was said privately between parties that resulted in the termination. As for Kanye… chances are if he says anything it’ll be all over social media. Stay tuned!!!
