Kanye tweeted to initiate the conversation saying, “Shaq is in business with Jamie Salter. Jaimie first said he’s 50/50 with David Beckham and 50/50 with Shaq. I said “Jamie . . . There’s no such thing as 50/50 in business . . . Who has the extra 1 percent for the control and voting rights.”
A billionaire from Canada named Jamie Salter manages Shaq’s name and likeness are managed by him and his business, the Authentic Brands Group. Jamie formerly claimed that ABG purchased 50% of Shaq’s potential revenues. The corporation now owns over 50 brands, many of which are quite well-known. O’Neal is one of the biggest shareholders in the business.

Shaq and Charles Barkley appeared to be the beginning of it all when they attacked Kyrie Irving for promoting the divisive movie “Hebrews to Negroes: Wake Up Black America!” The NBA player, according to Shaq, was “not mindful” and didn’t give a damn who he upset. Naturally, West disagreed with Shaq’s assessment of Irving and posted on Twitter, “They make us bully ourselves because of our business alignments.”
Ye has obviously become fond of 30-year-old Kyrie because he posted a picture of the Nets basketball player on social media to show his support. Antisemitism has been leveled against both men.
As for Shaq, it’s uncommon to see the big guy argue on social media, so don’t anticipate a protracted battle between the Big Fella and Ye.
