General Hospital spoilers reveal that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watross) is in a mess. Following the wedding that wasn’t, it seemed like Nina decided to forgive and forget. Except she didn’t. We noticed something in her eyes in a couple scenes that made us think she’s up to no good. Here’s where things stand…
General Hospital spoilers: The plot
In the Friday, November 22nd episode, she stopped by Jasper Jacks’ (Ingo Rademacher) place with an invitation. Jax was shocked to learn she plans to marry Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) again. He called her out for the decision, which led to a not-so-surprising confession. She actually wants to destroy him. She wants him to feel the same humiliation and hurt she did. But there is something she didn’t count on.
General Hospital spoilers: Voice of reason
One of those things was Jax. He gave some great advice about how living well is much better revenge. We’re really liking Jax through all of his recent stories. He seems to be a genuinely good friend, and Nina should take his advice. While she still seemed conflicted, we think she’ll ultimately take Jax’s advice and call off her plan. Why?
General Hospital spoilers: Bonding
Nina clearly loves Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez). The idea of losing her as a stepdaughter is part of what hurt Nina so much. In the Friday episode, Charlotte manages to make Nina even more conflicted than she already was. Nina walked in on them reading “Little Women”. She got home late because of the fight with Jax, so father and daughter started without her. When Nina took over reading duties, there was a part about the characters losing their father. Charlotte saying she doesn’t know what she’d do without her father seemed to be the final nail in Nina’s revenge coffin. So, what’s next?

General Hospital spoilers: Nina’s future
We don’t see Nina risking her relationship with Charlotte now. However, Nina isn’t the only one lately who wants to hurt Valentin. Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) recruited Jax and Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) for just that reason. While Nikolas has proven himself to be a massive disappointment, it seems inevitable that Valentin will fall. When he does, Charlotte’s hero worship of her father might fade. She’ll be so disillusioned, it may be hard for the kid to recover. Might Nina work things out with Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan) to stay in Charlotte’s life? It’s clear Charlotte will need all the help she can get to recover from this painful reality check. Since Charlotte’s still smarting over Lulu breaking up the wedding, Nina seems like the one Charlotte would trust most. We think it’s definitely the best thing for Charlotte—even if Nina enables Charlotte’s bratty ways.
