‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers tease that Lani Price (Sal Stowers) will come clean with Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) in a scene that you are going to have to see in order to believe. While Kristen sure does seem like a character who is only interested in taking care of her own needs, fans will see another side of her that we haven’t seen before. But is she faking it all? Here’s what you need to know.
While in the convent, Lani finally opens up and tells Kristen how Gabi DiMera (Camila Banus) basically destroyed her chances of marrying the love of her life, Eli Grant (Lamon Archey). As many fans know, Gabi blackmailed Lani and basically forced her to walk away from Eli on their wedding day. If she didn’t, Gabi threated to use an app on her phone to mess with Julie Williams’ (Susan Seaforth Hayes) heart.

And now Lani is opening up her heart to the most unlikely person from Salem. Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in an interview, actress Sal Stowers, who plays Lani, says, “Kristen is basically there to help Lani. They are both broken hearted and they are both grieving their deceased children, so there’s a lot for these two to bond over. So when Kristen finds out why Lani is there, she’s livid. Lani is still afraid that Gabi can kill Julie,she doesn’t feel like she’s safe yet so at first she doesn’t want to tell Kristen.”
With that said, a lot of people still can’t help but wonder why these two are in a convent. Apparently, there’s a good reason for it. Sal Stowers adds, “At this moment, Lani is broken, she’s in a low, dark place that she’s never been before. She believes with all of her heart that Eli is the only man for her, so therefore if she can’t be with Eli, she feels that turning herself over to the Lord is the only place where she can be forgiven.”
