Things are hitting repeat in Genoa City once again, but CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are hoping for a couple of twists to make things interesting.
Now that the threats have been dealt with, the show’s back to some of their tried and true methodology of repeating storylines ever few months.
But there is hope for some change, so let’s dive in and see what the possibilities are.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Victor readies for Adam’s worse
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is back to doing his second best thing — readying to defend against a situation he created. In this case, it’s once again Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) as everyone expects him to go back to his dark side.
Adam’s shown glimpses of doing just that by stealing Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart)’s computer and trying to get Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) to publish them.
But after talking with Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) and the fact she’s echoed Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman)’s advice, could he be getting ready to walk away from Victor?
It’d be a twist on par with the show listening to fans about Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) always doing the same thine, and it would show continued growth by Adam
Upsetting Victor would be a great reason as well, so maybe Adam will go to work at Jabot after all?
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Chance breaks his word
It’s possible that while Adam will turn away from repeating his dark path, his influence will make a difference.
Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) is going to break a promise he made Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway). How he’s going to do that is the question.
‘Young and the Restless’ think it’s possible Adam calling him out for bowing to Victor will ignite Chance’s virtue.
If it does, then he may decide things aren’t over with the case and he’ll see the evidence gets to the DA.
This will upset Abby to a point because it’ll cause a rift in the family, but she did say she felt back for joining in with the family’s manipulation with Chance.
Of course, we could be totally wrong and Chance’s backbone will continue to be a wet noodle ass he finds another way to break Abby’s heart.
