Piers Morgan‘s new show continues to make headlines as he returns to television and he’s been making quite the splash having already interviewed Donald Trump and Caitlyn Jenner among others. However, he also spoke about some new audio that was just released of Alec Baldwin speaking to detectives about the ‘Rust’ shooting that left cinematographer Halyna Hutchins dead from a gunshot and it makes him sound like the victim.
In the audio, Baldwin complains that he lost a series of jobs after the incident and that his daughter was going to be made fun of at school. I understand his life has been affected from the shooting, but the audacity to make it about himself at every turn has been disgusting.

Baldwin even explained on television that he feels no guilt about what happened, and how it wasn’t his fault. As Piers said, I have no problem saying it was an accident but he continues to play the victim card in the situation and it makes him look obnoxious.
Hutchins died on the set from a gun that he fired, leaving behind her child and husband, and he feels no guilt? Instead, he’s worried about jobs he lost out on and his kid being made fun of because he shot someone? Don’t get me wrong, I understand worrying about your kids, but where’s the concern for Halyna’s widower and her child, or her?
Baldwin was not the victim in this, but he continues to act as though he is holier than thou and did no wrong. He should have accepted responsibility or at least felt sorrow for what happened. Not worried about the jobs he had lined up the second half of the year.
