‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) has been named the CEO of Newman Enterprises… at least temporarily. Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will be going off to Tuscany with Ashland Locke (Robert Newman), except this isn’t for pleasure.
Victoria is planning some sinister to get back at her husband, while at the same time, Ashland seems like he’s planning on killing Victoria and leaving her there. He did joke, “maybe we’ll never come back.” We all know what the plan is, and Victoria is on top of it. However, while she’s there, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) didn’t feel like she should try to run the company at the same time she’s focusing on Locke.

Thus, Victor appointed Adam interim CEO and the look on Adam’s face was very devilish. He got what he wanted, though, I don’t think he’ll be able to hold onto it. Victoria most likely won’t be gone long, and there’s nothing he’s going to be able to do to remain full-time CEO after this… Right?
Well, Adam and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) were already planning a sort of hostile takeover before they were interrupted by Victor, and either Victor knows this and will be testing his son during the next week, or they may be able to weasel themselves in for good.
I think the more nerve-wracking part is what is going to happen (or not happen) to Victoria. While she’s in Tuscany, anything could happen. Hopefully, it’s Locke that won’t be coming back.
