Longrunning Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson has been traded to the Denver Broncos in a surprising move. This came as a shock to many NFL fans and viewers and we were waiting for the moment that it was marked as official. Well, it appears it’s official now as Wilson spoke at a news conference for his new organization.
In a five and half minute clip, the quarterback spoke about how important the Denver organization was to him and how he had ties back to when the Colorado Rockies drafted him before he made it in the NFL. Denver has also trafficked in several amazing quarterbacks from the great John Elway to Peyton Manning and is excited to see what he can accomplish.

However, for about half of the video, Wilson spoke about his love for Seattle and the teammates and coaches that he formed lasting relationships there. Pete Carroll, John Schneider, Tyler Lockett and D.K. Metcalf were some of the names mentioned. He talked about them and the impact they had on his life.
It really feels like he loved Seattle and I know fans will miss him. Some wrote in the comments, “Such a great guy! Very heartfelt and only good things about Seattle too. I still can’t believe they traded him.”, “I’m very intrigued by Russ going here

One thing is for sure, Denver will look a lot more dangerous this year and the AFC West has quickly become one of the craziest divisions in the league with the Chargers, Chiefs, Broncos, and Raiders, all led by fantastic quarterbacks.
