John Kerry is saying whacky crap again! Who would have guessed? After saying that Russia shouldn’t lose focus from going green amid their invasion of Ukraine, he’s now claiming that the Ukrainian refugee crisis will be nothing compared to a migration that will come if climate change is not addressed.
This man has his priorities in the right place. Kerry, the U.S. special presidential envoy for climate said in Houston Monday that the U.S. must not lose sight of its path toward clean energy as the Russia-Ukraine war has accelerated the global energy crisis.
John Kerry Claims An Upcoming ‘Climate Change Migration’ Will Be Worse Than The Ukraine Refugee Crisis
During his speech Kerry said,
“We’re already seeing climate refugees around the world. If you think migration has been a problem in Europe in the Syrian war … wait until you see 100 million people for whom the entire food production capacity has collapsed.”

Kerry continues to double down on his claims during the crisis in Ukraine, using it to continue pushing his climate change ideals. Even if Kerry is correct about climate change, and it looks like we do indeed need to switch to something more sustainable, now is not the time to do that and using what’s going on in Ukraine as a way to justify your stance is not a good look.
In a similar vein, other celebrities and politicians have been telling working Americans that if they don’t like the price at the pump to switch to an electric car. That’s a huge thing for many Americans to up and buy a new car, let alone a new one that costs triple what their current vehicle does.
The switch to electric is surely in the future, but trying to make it immediate and right now during the war is not the right way to go about it. Even the guy who makes the electric cars, Elon Musk, said we must increase our own oil production in America before we worry about switching.
What do you think? Do you agree with what he is saying or do you think this is the wrong claims to make during the war? Let us know in the comments below.
