If anyone has been following the news of the Jan. 6th committee, you’ll have seen the footage of congressman Kevin McCarthy rushing down the hallway trying to get away from a reporter, telling them to make an appointment and that it’s not a good idea to answer questions in hallways. Ahem.
Rep. Joe Walsh has decided to weigh in on the video footage over on Twitter and has said the following: “I know I’m late with this but having served in congress with Kevin McCarthy I have NEVER seen him move this fast. And I played basketball with him a few times. What a chicken.”

That isn’t the only thing Walsh has said in regards to the Jan. 6th committee, in another Tweet he said, “I’m a “former” Republican Congressman speaking out against Trump. There are too many “formers” speaking out and not enough “current”.
Until more current Republicans speak out against Trump, forget about it. And that ain’t gonna happen anytime soon.” the sad thing is, he has a point. Right now it would seem that a lot of the right-wing politicians are content to let things lie… to what end, we really don’t know, however. Logistically, it makes no sense, a lot of the causes that some right-wingers are championing just seem, well, kind of trivial.
The GOP has changed from what it used to be 20 years ago, 20 years ago you would be hard-pressed to find any sort of conservative that held any values that even remotely resembled what they do today. What seems to be happening is an entirely different party may be emerging, or at least that’s what the rumor is.
It may or may not be wrong, but we’re not sure if we like what we see or not – because right now, it looks like a bunch of people who just have the wrong information, all the time, about everything, and don’t want to be held accountable for it even to the tiniest nth degree. What would you even begin to call that kind of political party? Perhaps someone should ask Joe Walsh, he might have an appropriate name for it. Stay tuned!!!
