Anyone in her position would have thrown in the towel a long time ago, but Queen Elizabeth is the kind of person who will stay on the job until the very last minute. That’s because she wants to make sure that it’s done right. However, there’s a new report that says the Queen has been left “in despair” after a very rocky week for her family, thanks to her son Prince Andrew’s very messy legal sex battle. Here’s what you need to know.
Just this last week Queen Elizabeth was forced to strip her son, Prince Andrew of his honorary titles, as he continues to fight his sexual assault lawsuit. A woman by the name of Virginia Giuffre says that she was sex trafficked to Prince Andrew and forced to have sex with him when she was still a minor.

If that weren’t enough, the Duke of York also came under intense scrutiny in the new ITV documentary, “Ghislaine, Prince Andrew, and the Pedophile.”
And now according to Jennie Bond, all of this has become too much for the Queen to deal with, as she has certainly been affected by her son’s legal case. Speaking to OK! Magazine in a new interview, she said, “I think the Queen will be holding her hands up in despair with her children and some of her grandchildren.”
Queen Elizabeth was forced to make the same decision to strip her grandson, Prince Harry, from his military titles back in 2020 when he and his wife Meghan Markle decided to pull the plug on their working relationship with the royal family in a move that has since been dubbed as ‘Megxit.’
Jennie continued: “Everybody feels for the Queen now with the Andrew debacle, but I think there has to be some equity between Harry and Andrew now. There was the argument and it probably wasn’t correct, but if Harry has been stripped of his titles then Andrew should have been some time ago.”
This all comes after the Duke of York has a meeting with his mother at Windsor Castle just last week, which resulted in him getting stripped from his titles and patronages.
“The Duke of York’s military affiliations and royal patronage has been returned to the Queen,” the Palace said. “The Duke of York will continue not to undertake any public duties and is defending this case as a private citizen.”
