Louie Anderson, unfortunately, is seeking treatment at a Las Vegas hospital for cancer. A representative for Anderson told TMZ that the iconic comedian is being treated for Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.
This type of cancer is the most common type of non-Hodgkin lymphoma and while it’s an aggressive form of cancer, it’s considered treatable! Which is great news, not only for the comedian but for us as well.
We’ve also been told that he’s resting comfortably in the hospital.
Anderson is probably best known for his roles in “Coming to America” and “Baskets” as well as his stand-up work that goes back decades.

The comedian was very outspoken about his weight loss journey in recent years, saying he had lost 30 to 40 pounds during the pandemic and attributed it to intermittent fasting.
All in all, while this is terrible news, it does sound like there’s a very good chance that he could beat this, so that’s great to hear!
We wish Louie Anderson the best and we know he can beat this!
