The video that Rory made was all about aging and it was captioned, “Getting Old a MF” and in the video, he was getting out of bed and joking about his aching body. He then shared some more humorous scenes that were captioned, “Approaching 30 Be Like….”
This video did get over 150,000 views and he had a lot of comments about it. The sense of humor that he used in the video was hilarious and his fans loved it! When the news hit about his death, the comments then turned into condolences for his friends and family.
Rory’s death was caused by his boyfriend and they had been in a relationship for 10 years. According to the police, they were having an argument over a video game. The game in question is called Overwatch. Watkins had called the police and told them that they had a huge fight while they were playing the video game.
When the police came into his home, they found Rory on the couch and Watkins told them he was just sleeping. The police found him unresponsive and took him to the hospital. He was declared dead at the hospital and that is when police began their investigation.
Watkins is now being held without bond and he has been charged with second-degree murder. The police reported, “We see far too often across the country these days when people resort to violence over trivial and insignificant disagreements. There is never a reason where violence is acceptable over a disagreement. Those that do so will be held accountable.”
Our hearts and thoughts go out to Rory‘s friends and family.
