Nothing like channeling a holiday classic or two to help usher in Christmas, and CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are ready for some sweet moments.
We are set for plenty of cheese and tender moments that’ll make this a fun one as it looks like they’re focusing on the two warring parties, so things should get intense next week.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For December 23: Victor and Nikki’s reminder
There i going to be plenty of fun holiday moments as Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will be reminded about the true meaning of Christmas.
This should be a touching “It’s a Wonderful Life” type of moment as they look back at over the years and their various mistakes and victories.
Some of those will undoubtedly be their near misses with death that’ll help them appreciate what they have more, and for the first time in a while we’ll get to see Victor with his guard down.
It will be a nice touch to remind us of how the show used to be centered more around them and the writers weren’t afraid to take chances.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For December 23: Billy and Lily celebrate
One third of Genoa City’s warring party will also be celebrating Christmas together, but it doesn’t look like Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) have to be reminded of anything.
They’re enjoying their fresh start together, and ‘Young and the Restless’ expect this to be a fun celebration as they get into the holiday spirit with some last minute decorating or making plans for the big day.
This should be a fun segment as they will be playful and the war with Victor will be a thing left outside as they enjoy what they have and brought into each other’s lives.
It will be a cool contrast to Victor and Nikki as Billy and Lily will be at start of their journey, and not as cynical or vexed by decades of battles and feuds.
Besides all of that, it’s great to see all four of them spending some quality time together and enjoying themselves instead of dealing with some manufactured drama.
