James Charles, in keeping with the spirit of Halloween, acted ghoulishly toward a fellow partygoer. Tiktokker Charlie Jordan threw a Halloween party (not uncommon for Tiktokkers to do, they seem to be pandemic-proof.) and one of the would-be attendees got really mad because they said that people were having to show their follower count in order to get in.
They said that they didn’t think that things like this was actually real in Hollywood, but insisted that was one of the requirements of the party. They also said that James Charles, who was standing behind them at the time of the whole debacle was rude to them!

Charlie Jordan herself came on tiktok to defend her security. She said that there were so many people that showed up to her party that she didn’t feel safe, so her security demanded that everyone pull out their phones and show that Charlie actually followed them back, or they would not be able to get in.
Follower count had nothing to do with it. She said that she stood on her wall and screamed at everyone that if she didn’t know them, they wouldn’t be getting into her party. Okay, we can kind of see why she would have people pulling out their phones and having security check and see if she followed them back. Who wants a bunch of strangers at their party? It’s still a pandemic!
It seems that through a convoluted misunderstanding, this other tiktokker thought that the follower count was an issue and warned James that it “wasn’t even worth it” to try and get into the party. She said that James looked her up and down distastefully and said, “Uh, thanks.” obviously we weren’t there, but James Charles himself commented on the video saying, “I remember the interaction and it definitely didn’t happen the way you said it did.
I said thank you. I’m not sure what else you wanted me to say?” It looks like this was a case of not really what James said, but the way that he said it that incriminated him. Whether the accusing tiktokker got into the party, we don’t exactly know, it’s speculated that she didn’t and that was the reason she was upset. Can’t win ‘em all, sister. Stay tuned!!!
