In fact, one royal expert says that Harry and Meghan’s “glamorous” neighbors are distancing themselves from the royal couple for this reason. Lady C explained in a new video on her YouTube video: Last night, I was at something in London with some very very famous stars who have a place in Montecito. And of course, Meghan and Harry’s names came up. And they told me what I have been told by other friends of mine, who know the Montecito scene or have places in Montecito. And the billionaires don’t want to touch them, nobody wants to touch them.”
Meanwhile, another royal expert believes that Harry and Meghan only care about publicity. Caroline Aston slammed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex on GB News by suggesting that they’ve adopted a method to ensure they remain in the public eye, regardless of what they do, how they do it, and when they do it. In other words, Harry and Meghan want to make sure that they are always in the headlines.
Aston said that such an example was Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s most recent trip to New York City, which she says resembled a royal state visit. She put it this way, “The meetings, the greetings, the pomp going on. This oh-so private couple that stepped away from the glare of publicity. And yet seem to have become extremely public property.”
If that weren’t enough, Aston also claims that plenty of Americans believe that Harry and Meghan should drop their royal titles. She also added how critics also question their numerous state visit-style appearances despite no longer being part of the Royal Family or carrying out official visits.
She continued: “There is always something happening with the Sussexes. And lets face it, self-generated publicity is the name of their game.”
