‘90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way’ spoilers find that new cast member, Alina is not wasting anytime cashing in on her pseudo celebrity and has set up an online fundraiser for herself. Fans of the TLC reality show aren’t too impressed with Alina’s apparent cash grab.
90 Day Fiancé fans met Alina just this season and there’s no real strong fan base for the Russian 20 year old…though the 90 Day family collectively are scratching their heads about why she’d want to marry Salt Lake City Mormon (when he wants to be), Steven.
‘90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way’ Spoilers – Alina Begs for Money Online
A lack of fanbase didn’t stop Alina from posting her ‘buy me a coffee’ platform fundraiser and her explanation as to why she wants others to support her rather than supporting herself isn’t exactly a heartstring-tugger.
Alina is asking for $5000 USD so she can pursue her “dream of becoming a full-time digital artist and digital marketer.”
She seemed to allude to the fact that leaving Russia to go to Turkey with Steven was a financial setback and mentions she wishes to enroll in an “accredited American University” to earn her degree.
So…she wants us to pay for her school, rather than work part time while taking classes…don’t we all?
Alina further mentioned that, being an only child, it was up to her to look after her parents as they age, as is the Russian tradition.
Ahhhh, Alina, we all saw your mother take Steven down a peg or eight during the last episode- there is no way you’ll be needing to worry about that spit fire needing your financial support for a while yet.
Finally, she decided to throw in her philanthropic side and say she plans to feed homeless cats and dogs with the money we are meant to fork over (that we earn from, you know, working), but even if we don’t give her money, she’ll continue to do that anyway. Nawwww.
Alina has a link to her fundraiser on her Instagram, but unfortunately under the link are all the latest photos of her recent vacation in the Greek Islands.
Oh Alina.
Seems like another shady case, similar to that of Jihoon’s GoFundMe. Set up to help pay his attorney’s fees for his divorce and child custody battle, the fundraiser was abruptly shut down, just as Jihoon was seen flaunting his new nose all over social media.
So far Alina has made 2% of her $5000 goal with 6 supporters donating. Many more have advice for the young woman like- “go get a job”.
