However, this one is taking it up a notch already. Let’s take a look at what happened and why these women need to run as fast as possible.

First, Vencer el Pasado spoilers reveal we saw a character get her heartbroken in the premiere when Alonso Cancino (Horacio Pancheri) dumped Renata Sánchez Vidal (Angelique Boyer) over a video of her kissing some guy. As we mentioned, it seemed like a total setup that she had no control over, as she was so drunk. Her “friends” kept insisting on her having more shots. But we think there was more to this.
See, we think there’s a guilty conscience involved. Or, at least this guy was just looking for an excuse to dump her now that he got what he wanted. And by that, we mean her life’s work. It turns out that he registered her big bio project as his. So when Renata got fired over the video fallout, she couldn’t take it with her. Considering he was clearly sponging off her smarts since school, we think he’s been in a long game. But there’s even more than that.
It turns out, Renata paid for a deposit and a month’s rent on an apartment. Which Alonso also managed to get in his name. So, now he’s living in a place on Renata’s dime when she can least afford it. Especially since there’s something Renata doesn’t know. Her father apparently owes money to bad people, and they’re ready to collect. So, yeah… this guy is ranking real low on our list of trash men in novelas.

Of course, Alonso has plenty of competition. There’s also Heriberto Cruz Núñez (Roberto Blandón). This winner is sleeping around on his wife and now has two viral videos online to prove it. Of course, Carmen Medina (Erika Buenfil), his wife, protected the both of them from embarrassment at first. The original video had a voice off-camera that she claimed was her. They were “spicing up their marriage.” When the second one came out, things weren’t as easy to overlook or try to explain.
This was especially true when her daughter, Danna Cruz Medina (Ana Paula Martínez), got in trouble over it. See, the kids at school saw the videos as well. One in particular was being especially harsh on her. So, Danna snuck in the boys’ room and took a picture of him using the urinal. She intended to embarrass him as much as he embarrassed her. But, she got caught and mom had to come to school.
After this incident, Carmen couldn’t take anymore. She went to Heriberto’s job and confronted him about the videos, pointing out that everyone was talking about them. And their kids were being affected by his actions now. What’d he do? He basically ordered her to leave and accused her of not giving him what he wants at home when she pushed the issue. When she didn’t like that, he actually hit her. Seriously, with that move, he just claimed a spot above the lazy, unqualified thief.
Univision Vencer el Pasado Spoilers: So wrong
Closing things off, Mariluz Blanco’s (Arantza Ruiz) boyfriend turned out to be the trash we thought he was. When she declined to leave the country with him, he got angry. His friend didn’t help him calm down any, either. So, eventually her now-ex decided to share the photos he took of her everywhere. Poor Mariluz’s family is shocked and horrified at what she did, and her father hit her over it as well. So, this is turning out to be one big show about how not to be a man. We’re looking forward to seeing the main four come together and help each other through their messes.
