General Hospital spoilers for September 30th reveal Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will continue to rage at those she feels wronged by. Meanwhile, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) has some business of her own to tend to, while the Quartermaines deal with the return of Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and what it means. Let’s talk about the teasers and promo.
General Hospital spoilers: Her mother’s daughter
First, General Hospital spoilers indicate Esme Prince’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) visit to GH will be a big part of the action. For one, she’ll have a run-in with Joss. It clearly doesn’t go well, as the conversation will include a bit of a threat. Joss truly is becoming her mother’s daughter. But at least Esme is a 100% justified target, and Joss isn’t currently trying to dodge any blame or misdeeds. And, yes, we’re looking at you, Carly. More on that in a minute.
As for the cause of this tension? We’re guessing Esme has a hell of a story for Sonny, hence Joss being worked up. However, we don’t take Sonny’s comment to Esme seriously. It may sound like he was telling her she did the right thing by coming to him, but we have a feeling he’s smart enough to see through her bull and give her some in return.
General Hospital spoilers: Goodbye… still
In other General Hospital spoilers, Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) journey out of Port Charles isn’t done yet. It seems she has some unfinished business at GH. This business will take her to Kevin Collins’ (Jon Lindstrom) office, where she’ll surprise him.

It looked like Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) was on the verge of unburdening himself during Cameron Webber’s (William Lipton) visit. However, we aren’t sure he’ll go that far, as he asks Cameron if he can really make that promise. Sounds like Spencer does want to talk and Cam is offering an ear, but he’s wisely not sure if Cam can be trusted with such information.
General Hospital spoilers: Update
Elsewhere, we’ll see the return of Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) Thursday. Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) asks Shawn what he’s trying not to tell her. She’ll apparently be referring to the Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) case, as Alexis wants an update Thursday.
General Hospital spoilers: What now?
Also on Thursday, the Quartermaines will have a lot of questions now that Sonny is back. Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) wonders what happens to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) now that Sonny is back. A fair question. They all thought (and were unknowingly right) that Jason and Carly were marrying for real. So, it has to be a both wonderful moment and harsh blow for Jason to have his marriage suddenly tossed out the window. Ned won’t be the only one asking. Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) will worry as well.

Finally, the Carly rage tour continues. She’ll tell Jasper Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) he can “Go to hell” if he expects a thank you. Obviously, she’s still angry about the revelation Jax expected Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) to tell the truth. He’ll accept his part of the blame.
