At this point it’s safe to say that she clearly wants nothing to do with him. Meghan Markle’s estranged father Thomas Markle recently admitted that his daughter has ignored his most recent plea for peace as he just wants to put the past in the past and of course, patch things up again.
Thomas claims that he got “no response” from the Duchess of Sussex when he reached out to her on her 40th birthday. Here’s what he has to say.
Meghan Markle Ignores Father Thomas Markle’s Plea For Peace
As many royal fans know by now, Meghan has been on the outs with her father ever since he failed to show up to her royal wedding to Prince Harry back in 2018. To make matters worse, he was caught trying to set up a fake photo shoot with a member of the paparazzi and even gave a person letter she wrote to him to the press.
While Thomas has tried several times to patch things up again with his daughter, it does’t look like that’s going to happen anytime soon.
During an interview with Australia’s Channel 7 Sunrise, Thomas shared: “I sent her a bouquet of flowers with two yellow ones in the middle for the babies, and I have received no response.”
Also, Thomas said that while he would love to meet his grandchildren one day, he won’t take their parents to court over it. He put it this way: “I’ve had offers from several lawyers – pro-bono – because we do have the right to sue to see our grandchildren.
But to me that’s like trying to descend into a game and using them like pawns and I won’t sue to see them because I just think that’s using them and it’s not what I plan to do. They shouldn’t be used, they are just babies. So no, I will wait.
I will wait patiently until they are ready to bring them to me. But as long as my daughter has the attitude she doesn’t want me to see them, that’s the way it’s going to be.”
