As the saying goes, he can run, but he certainly can’t hide. There’s a new report that says Prince Andrew has been served once again in his sexual assault lawsuit, according to Virginia Giuffre’s lawyer. The Duke of York has reportedly been served with a sexual assault lawsuit after the paperwork was delivered to his lawyer in LA. Keep reading for everything you need to know.

Reports say that the summons and complaint papers were sent by email and FedEx to the Duke of York’s new U.S.-based lawyer. Virginia filed a civil case against Prince Andrew under New York’s Child Victims Act.

The Duke of York has been slapped with a lawsuit by former alleged sex trafficking victim Viriginia, who claims that she was sexually assaulted by the prince when she was still a minor. Because of the lawsuit, this might be the reason why so many people believe Prince Andrew has gone into hiding, and in an attempt to avoid being served legal papers.

The certificate of service has now been delivered via email and FedEx, according to court records. The email was sent on September 17 while the physical papers were delivered on Monday, the legal document claims. In addition, it was left with the front desk of Mr Brettler’s office in Los Angeles, according to the FedEx receipt.

The email sent to Mr Brettler stated: “Pursuant to Judge Kaplan’s September 16, 2021, order granting Plaintiff’s motion for alternate service (attached), I am serving by email the Summons and Complaint in the above-captioned matter on you in your capacity as counsel for the Defendant, Prince Andrew, the Duke of York.”

Virginia has repeatedly made her allegations against dead but also disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, and Prince Andrew, but the lawsuit was the first time she has directly confronted Andrew in such a formal setting. In a statement, Virginia said she was “holding Prince Andrew accountable for what he did to me.” So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter.
