Katie Thurston and Blake Moynes may be happily engaged, but the talk surrounding the next stages of their lives has quickly begun to surface.
‘The Bachelorette’: Katie Thurston And Blake Moynes Discuss Vasectomies
Blake, for his part, made a huge step in their relationship as he was pictured in Katie’s home for the first time. And during the course of that interaction, the topic of having a family came up.
Soon after, the couple were joking about whether Blake would consider having a vasectomy. The response from Blake, though, was comical indeed. During a post to his fans on Instagram, Blake shared a picture of himself standing in Katie’s kitchen.
The post was captioned by the following comments: “Discussing vasectomies. It’s a no go for @blakemoynes.A knife cutting me open for anything, let alone my d—k.”
While the topic of children was clearly not something they were ready to discuss, Katie’s cat made its wishes known by getting close to Blake. Katie is known for her love of animals, and that is something that is a big part of her life.
And given that Blake is a wildlife manager, that is something that they have bonded over when it comes to Katie’s cat. In response, Katie wrote the following on Instagram: “What do you think, Tommy [her cat]? Oh, wow, he’s purring loud. Alright, guys, I think Tommy approves [of Blake].” Things are looking great, and yet, there are still some hurdles to overcome.
The couple will have to decide where they want to stay long-term, given that they are not from the same country. Katie is American, while Blake is from Canada, which means the pair will have to navigate visa rules. And that is something playing on their minds.
In a prior post on social media, Katie remarked: “I don’t think people fully understand what it’s like to date someone from another country and the rules behind that and the visas behind that.”
The future is bright, regardless of which way you look at it. The pair are in no rush, and they have to do what is best for them. And we wish them the best with things going forward.
