Prince Harry is not even done writing the first draft of his new book and it looks like there are a lot of people who already want to get their hands on it.
The Duke of Sussex confirmed this week that he’s writing a new book about his life, which won’t be about his years as a “prince” but rather as the man that he most recently become.
And while there are a lot of people who can’t believe he’s got even more tea to spill about the royal family, others are dying to find out what he has to say. Here’s what you need to know.
When Will Prince Harry’s Royal Tell-All Hit Bookshelves?
According to new reports, Prince Harry’s new memoir will be published in late 2022, which means we have an entire year before we can get our hands on it.
The memoir will be released by Random House in the U.K. and Penguin Random House imprint Transworld in the U.K. The book will cover his “lifetime in the public eye from childhood to the present day,” and he’ll “offer an honest and captivating personal portrait.”
Harry himself even said he’s writing it “not as the prince I was born but as the man I have become,” adding that the memoir will delve into the “highs and lows” of his life and allow him to share “what I’ve learned.”
He added, “I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to share what I’ve learned over the course of my life so far and excited for people to read a firsthand account of my life that’s accurate and wholly truthful.”
A blurb from the publisher reads: “In an intimate and heartfelt memoir from one of the most fascinating and influential global figures of our time, Prince Harry will share, for the very first time, the definitive account of the experiences, adventures, losses, and life lessons that have helped shape him.”
So far Buckingham Palace has not released a statement about the matter.
