‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers find that star and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Denise Richards (Shauna Fulton) is headed to court, but this time it has nothing to do with her ex-Charlie Sheen.
Former landlords of the actress and her then fiancé, Aaron Phypers have claimed that the couple trashed the rental property and are suing for fraud and damages.
Richards is not just refusing to cough up a dime but countersuing the landlords, accusing them of leaking her private information in exhibits attached to the lawsuit. The 50-year-old mom of three is seeking unspecified damages for her “pain and suffering”.
Richards and Phypers leased the Calabasas property at the center of the case just prior to their wedding, back in July 2018.

In 2020 the landlords sued, saying the home was trashed and that Richards and her family had left the home in need of repairs.
“During their seven-month tenancy the defendants trashed the house and destroyed the landscaping, resulting in over $100,000 in damage,” the suit reads.
It is also alleged that Richards broke lease rules, saying she had agreed to, “properly use, operate, and safeguard the property, keeping it clean and sanitary and would pay for all damage to the property caused by tenants or pets.”
The landlords claim they had allowed two pot-bellied pigs and three dogs on the property only, however, allege that “over a half dozen dogs and cats” were present, over and above what was allowed as per the lease.
Richards and Phypers deny all allegations of wrongdoing and say they will not pay a cent of the demanded $103k in damages.
The couple claim the home was already a mess when they originally leased it for a family member (then moved in themselves) and dismiss any blame for the landlords have placed on them in the claim that the property value has diminished by $400,000.
A source claims the case has only cropped up after the landlords, who happen to both be lawyers, had a difficult time selling the house, which is across the street from a residential treatment program.
Richards has said the drop in house value could have been prevented by making necessary repairs and she and her husband are demanding the fraud claims be thrown out due to lack of any evidence.
Richards and Phyper claim they weren’t allowed to do their own inspection or be present at the landlord’s inspection of the property.
Worse still, it has been alleged by Richards that the invoice submitted by the landlords showed work being charged twice and the true value of the alleged repair work, which she says she is not responsible for, comes in at around $32,445, not $100k.
A judge has set the trial date for this case for December 6.
