‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ (B&B) Spoilers reveal that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) has been the villain of the piece for a long time on B&B. He’s done everything short of taking Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) hostage in order to get her to be with him, but it seems like he’s backed off and returned to semi-sanity in the past couple of months.
Unfortunately it seems that Vinny Walker (Joe Locicero) didn’t really get that memo because he decided that he would take a dive in front of Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) car just so Thomas could be with Hope and have the family he’d always wanted. (That’s a whole other level of dedication to a friend right there, but we’ll touch on that some other time.)

Now with Vinny dead and the cat being largely out of the bag about who is actually responsible thanks to Thomas resetting his phone and Vinny’s number magically becoming unblocked and Thomas getting that video from him, Thomas now wants to do the right thing for not only Bill Spencer (Don Diamont), but Liam as well!
The old Thomas would have laughed in glee while Liam rotted away in prison for a crime he didn’t commit and totally have taken advantage of the fact that Liam told him to take care of Hope and the kids while he was gone.
But Thomas isn’t doing that. In fact, he was advocating pretty heavily for Liam to get out of jail, even said that he didn’t deserve to be there and wants them to be able to get home to their families. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not hating on this change, it’s a breath of fresh air, but we have to admit that it’s a little unexpected.
More than a little, in fact, this Thomas isn’t all that bad, in fact one might be able to get along with this Thomas on a good day, but it begs the question, after everything Thomas has done, is he now headed toward a redemption arc?

I’m not going to say that Thomas has moved on from Hope, but it’s clear that he’s not as hung up on her like he was before. He actually wants Hope to have the man of her choice by her side rather than trying to force her to choose him. So it looks like the writers are trying to undo the damage that they did to Thomas’s character throughout the last 3 years.
What are they aiming for with this? Since Hope seems to be attrated to selfless, giving types, this could be the thing that finally gets her over to his side… if it’s played right. We’ll see. Stay tuned!!!
