NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers reveal Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) should’ve kept his mouth shut. A little bit of karma hit him during the big DiMera board meeting.
This turn of events has us wondering, is there some big trouble for the company ahead? And how did they not learn from the competition? Let’s take a look at what went down and the disaster we see ahead.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Karma came calling
First, ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal Chad got a little too cocky during the DiMera board meeting. When Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) was voted out, he basically said getting betrayed by your blood is a DiMera rite of passage. It means you’re really one of them now. Chad should’ve thought twice before opening his mouth.
In a “hold my beer” moment, a big question was put before the three brothers who made this ousting possible. The question being, who’s next to take the position? EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) spoke up, surprising Chad.
After all, he was the one who was supposed to step up. The two brothers argued over the job, eventually leading Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) to step in. Like a true older brother, he called for a resolution. We’re not sure the solution is a wise one, though.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: We’ve seen this one…
The solution? The two will be co-CEOs. Right. ‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers reveal we’ve seen this movie, and it was a mess. We’re, of course, talking about Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) and Phillip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) co-running Titan.
These two were at each other’s throats and that’s never good for a company. Eventually, one of them had to go. We don’t see this going any differently for DiMera.
NBC ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: The true leader?
First, Chad was offended by the double-cross. And EJ has not struck us as being a fair guy, especially since Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) is so freaked out about what EJ might do if her affair is exposed.
We can see him pulling a lot of dirty tricks to make Chad look bad. And we’re sure Chad will fight back. So, where does that leave the company?
We’ll forget a moment that they’re bringing back a guy that had to resign for a scandal. It’s a soap, right? These things happen. However, potential in-fighting between the two men steering this ship might make it a potential Titanic in the making. So, we can see Tony stepping in and laying down the law.
Either he’ll forget his promise to stay out of the business of DiMera and outright take over, or he’ll strongarm his younger brothers into obeying his orders. Because Tony made it very clear how much he loves that DiMera money, and there’s not a chance he’ll let Chad and EJ’s battles put that in jeopardy.
