She might not be the only one. During her seismic court hearing in Los Angeles about her conservatorship this week, Britney Spears admitted – among others things – that she didn’t believe her old pal Paris Hilton and her claims that she was abused while at boarding school in Provo, Utah. During her court hearing, Spears referred to Hilton’s public allegations about Provo Canyon School in Utah, where she allegedly was abused by the “evil and sadistic” staff. Spears said that when she first heard Hilton’s story, she didn’t believe it, and that’s why she has kept quiet about her own “abusive” conservatorship up until now.
Britney Spears Didn’t Believe Paris Hilton’s Abuse Claims
“To be honest with you, the Paris Hilton story on what they did to her at that school, I didn’t believe any of it. I’m sorry,” Spears told a judge during a virtual hearing in Los Angeles Superior Court.
While Britney Spears and Paris Hilton did make headlines during the late 2000s for their friendship, Hilton did hint that they are still friends today. Hilton said she believes that the Toxic hitmaker has “no control of her life whatsoever.” Paris revealed that she has had several dinners with Britney in Malibu this past summer.
“I love her so much, and I feel that if you’re an adult, you should be able to live your life and not be controlled,” Hilton, 39, said. “I think maybe that stems from me being controlled so much, so I can understand how that can feel. I can’t imagine right now if that was still happening to me after working your whole life and working so hard.”
“I don’t think that’s fair,” she added, admitting, though, that she and Spears don’t discuss her conservatorship much because the “Toxic” singer is “so sweet,” “innocent,” and “such a nice girl.”
