‘Doubling Down with the Derrico’ Spoilers finds that last week, Karen Derrico had a dilemma and that was telling Grandma GG that she was pregnant (and we all know how that went, not good.) but this week she’s having another dilemma entirely and that is, going to visit her own ailing Grandmother who has had a lot of strokes this year. “Memah” as she calls her, has not had the best of years and while it’s unclear how old she is, we don’t know if Karen is actually up for the trip, being pregnant right now.
Although one might could argue that it’s early enough in the pregnancy that she could travel, no problem, and while that could be true there is also the possibility of Coronavirus.
‘Doubling Down with the Derrico’: Will Karen get to see her Grandma?
Karen has already had COVID once, but it’s not like the chicken pox, if you catch it once you might have a chance of getting the virus again, and right now with Karen being pregnant that could be genuinely catastrophic on her.
But for the time being we’ll assume that wherever Memah lives is safe from COVID or she has not been exposed. Hey, we can all dream, right?
Karen wants to go visit her because she’s not too sure how long she has, and you never know with stroke victims, especially those who have had multiple strokes like Memah has. Memah is Karen’s maternal Grandmother.
You could see the resemblance in the family photo they showed, Karen bears a great resemblance to her maternal Grandmother in that picture.
There is also the question of whether or not Karen’s baby can take the stress of travel right now, After all, we did see some troubling results on the ultrasound last week. However both Karen and hubby Deon Derrico has said that Karen’s traveling is totally up to the decision of the doctor and that if he says no then she doesn’t get to go.
However… something tells me that Karen is really determined to see Memah before anything happens to her, and that she will probably do just about anything to get medical approval. We’ll see. Stay tuned!!!
