‘Welcome to Plathville’ ended to rave reviews in January this year, yet TLC has not made any announcement about a season three when it comes to premier date, or if a third season is even happening.
However, in late May, fans of the show began to spy what looks to be season three production starting up. One fan posted photos of Micha, Ethan, Olivia and Moriah Plath, along with Moriah’s boyfried Max Kallschmidt out at dinner, surrounded by cameras and a boom mic.
Not the usual accessories you’d take to dinner with you…unless you are starring in a hit reality series.
‘Welcome to Plathville’: Season Three Possibly Filming
Some fans who didn’t want to get their hopes up were wary of how old these snaps were, but Micah Plath added photos of his big brother, Ethan’s 23rd birthday celebration on his Instagram in mid-May…they were at the same restaurant, in the same clothes with Olivia sporting the sam new auburn hair color.
The restaurant in question is in Tallahassee, Florida, so there is the possibility the five were filming a vacation special, or even a spin-off seeing as they are one half of the splintered family.
Fans are continually peppering the Plaths (the one who have social media accounts) with questions about a possible third season, but the Plaths are staying mum…likely due to contractual obligations.
Both of the past two seasons of Welcome to Plathville have premiered in November, so if the Plaths are filming now, it will still be a wait before our favorite TLC show is back on our screens.
