‘Young and the Restless’ Spoilers, Wednesday August 14: Adam Newman Shocked – Gets Served By Victor!
It begins at the Abbott house, where Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) gives Ashley a huge hug. She tells her all about her plans on buying a hotel and how Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is helping her with the details. Ashley thinks it would be better to work with someone else but Abby assures her that she can handle Phyllis.

Jack is at Victor’s office. He says he’s there to see Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). Victor then gets a mysterious phone call. Jack admits that he’s there to check up on Victor and his health and is glad to see that he is feeling better. He also comments about the situation between Adam and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and admits that there’s room for hope. Victor, however, says that things are different this time around with Adam.
Adam is served at the penthouse. He gets a restraining order and learns that he can no longer see Christian. He calls Michael Bennett (Christian LeBlanc) and tells him that he needs to fix it right away.

Elena and Devon are at home and discussing what happened with Christian running away at the park. Elena is worried about Adam being across the hall from them but Devon tells her it’s fine. Later on, Adam tells Devon that he wants Elena’s take on what happened at the park. Devon tells him to stay away from Elena. Adam tells Devon that he’s not the bad guy in this situation and tells him about the restraining order and how he has been lied to. Devon isn’t buying anything and says he’s worried about Christian. He then tells Adam that he should think about compromising. Adam then realizes that it wasn’t Nick who put the restraining order on him.
At the apartment, Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) is looking at the letter she got from her father. Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) practices for their wedding day and says that he will never disappoint her.
Elena meets Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) at Crimson Lights. She finds out that he’s been too busy for Abby lately. Nate says that he called her about an opportunity at Memorial. Nate thinks that the residency opening might be fate but doesn’t want to pressure her into doing something she’s not ready for. Elena says that she doesn’t need to think about it.
At the Abbott mansion, everyone is gathered around while Ashley and Jack try to come up with names for their new merger. Kyle thinks that it should remain Jabot. Afterwards, everyone toasts to Kyle and Lola with Jack telling them that he is headed to Miami and that he won’t come back home alone.
