‘Young and the Restless’ (YR) spoilers tease that Kola’s wedding might be threatened. That’s because it seems as though there’s either someone or something getting in the way of Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Lola Rosales’ (Sasha Calle) happiness. This time around it’s someone from Kyle’s past. Here’s what you need to know.

Kyle and Lola are finally planning to tie the knot. Even though it’s been a long time coming, Kyle is sure that Lola is the woman for him. He loves her with all his heart. What’s more, Lola knows that the two of them have great chemistry. No one has ever gone above and beyond for her the same way that Kyle has.

However, there’s always opposition from someone: if it’s not one of her brothers, or Summer Newman (Hunter King), then it’s someone from the past. This time around it’s Kyle’s old buddy, Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson). He’s pretty certain that Kyle is still the same guy that liked to party and pick up women with him back during their New York City party days. What Theo doesn’t understand is why Kyle has done this about and is pretending like he doesn’t even know Theo anymore. As a matter of fact, he’s pretty hurt by it as Kyle and Theo used to have a tight relationship back in the Big Apple.
So what’s a friend supposed to do in a situation like this? Ruin the wedding, of course. And so far that plan seems to be working for Theo. Not only did he manage to run Lola’s mom out of town and back to Miami, but he’s also doing a good job of planting doubt in everyone’s heads, and especially with Lola. Will Kola ever make it down the aisle? Fans will find out soon enough!
