It seems restraining orders are being doled out by the dozens these days! Olivia Wilde is the most recent celebrity to have been granted a permanent restraining order against her stalker. The order, which also protects her ex, Jason Sudeikis, and their kids was filed against Eric Fuhs.
The 30-year-old repeatedly showed up at Wilde’s home and believed he was the actress’ lover. After viewing security footage of the man trespassing and leaving notes for Wilde, he was ordered to stay away from Wilde, Sudeikis, their children and their homes for a minimum of three years.

Wilde, now dating singer Harry Styles, was scared that the man was able to locate her home and was specifically worried about one letter written to her where Fuhs claimed to be “struggling to stay sane.”
Unfortunately, Wilde is not the only star having troubles with trespassers and stalkers this week. Security at the Kardashians’ exclusive gated community caught another man looking for the famous family.
Initially he 33-year-old man drove up to the gates at around 11pm, asking to see “the Kardashians”. He was turned away, however, was found soon afterwards walking inside the gated community. It wasn’t long before he was corralled and arrested for trespassing.
This was not one of the two trespassers that received restraining orders from Kendall Jenner when two different men showed up to her home. One of the trespassing men went swimming naked in Jenner’s pool while the other threatened to shoot the 25 year old model.
If these incidences are not bad enough, Willow Smith recently had problems with a 38-year-old stalker, Walter Whaley when he travelled from Oklahoma to L.A. and tried to gain access to her home. Prior to him hopping a Greyhound to L.A., Whaley, a convicted sex-offender, had been trying to contact Smith via social media saying he wanted to marry her and have a family with her.
While these restraining orders are all very nice to have, are they truly effective? Taylor Swift’s most recent stalker, Hanks Johnson, 52, arrested for breaking into Swift’s apartment building in New York in April, so very excitedly showed off the restraining order he received from the incident, adding it to his ‘collection’ which included orders from models and sisters Bella and Gigi Hadid.
