The UK is hoping that their favorite royal brothers, Prince William and Prince Harry, will be able to reconcile their relationship ahead of their grandfather Prince Philip’s funeral service this Saturday.
Prince Harry traveled from California to London this week to grieve the passing of his beloved grandfather with the rest of the royal family. Here’s what you need to know.
While there are high hopes of a reconciliation between Harry and his family after he seemingly threw them under the bus in their tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey last month, some people believe it’s going to take a lot of time and a lot of work to get things back to the way they were before. Either way, it’s still not stopping a lot of royal fans from hoping for the best.
The UK Is Keeping Their Fingers Crossed For A Prince William And Prince Harry Reconciliation
“It’s all speculation right now of what will happen,” royal expert and author Nick Bullen told Fox News in a new interview. “But funerals, weddings and births do often reunite families. And I think both William and Harry will know – and do know – that the Duke of Edinburgh would want them to be reunited.”
Bullen said it’s important now more than ever for the British Royal Family to put on a united front for the grieving queen, who lost her husband of 73 years.
“Let’s all hope that this is a catalyst for them to heal,” he added. “Especially for the queen’s sake. It’s important that all the members of the royal family are pulling in the same direction as she steps into her platinum Jubilee year. So fingers crossed that this is a positive coming together.”
As many fans know by now, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped away from royal duties last year and eventually settled in California, saying they wanted to escape racist coverage and unwanted intrusions on their privacy by the British media. Yet, they also had an explosive interview with Oprah last month, in which Prince Harry said that he has been cut off, both emotionally and financially, from his father, Prince Charles.
