British Royal Family News find that it looks like it was Meghan Markle who appeared to have gotten ITV network bosses to finally pull the plug on Piers Morgan.
There’s a new report that says the Duchess of Sussex complained to the network after Piers repeatedly said that he didn’t believe her when she said that she experienced suicidal thoughts during her pregnancy.
After clashing with his co-host on the show, Piers walked off from the set. It was later reported by ITV that he would not be returning to Good Morning Britain. Here’s what you need to know.
ITV announced this week that Piers would be leaving Good Morning Britain after he cast doubt on whether or not Meghan had suicidal thoughts, which was one of many revelations she and Prince Harry made during their tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey.

“Following discussions with ITV, Piers Morgan has decided now is the time to leave Good Morning Britain,” ITV said on Tuesday. “ITV has accepted this decision and has nothing further to add.”
It’s now being reported that it was Meghan Markle who filed a complaint out of concern that Piers’ comments could have on others and how it could degrade the seriousness of mental health issues.
What’s more, the UK’s Office of Communications had received over 41,000 complaints about Piers Morgan’s behavior by late Tuesday but a formal complaint was lodged on behalf of the Duchess of Sussex with ITV.
Meghan insisted that she was not upset over Piers Morgan’s personal attacks on her character, but more out of concern for how his comments would affect other people who are suffering from mental health issues.
On Monday’s show, Piers made it pretty clear that he didn’t believe a word that Meghan said during her interview with Oprah.
“Who did you go to?” Morgan said Monday on “Good Morning Britain.” “What did they say to you? I’m sorry, I don’t believe a word she said, Meghan Markle. I wouldn’t believe it if she read me a weather report.”
On Tuesday, Piers said he still didn’t believe Meghan, but that he does take mental illness seriously.
When we talked about this yesterday, I said as an all-encompassing thing I don’t believe what Meghan Markle is saying generally in this interview, and I still have serious concerns about the veracity of a lot of what she said.”
