British Royal Family News tell us that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle still have a good relationship with the Royals despite the media furore surrounding the latest Harry and Meghan interview. That is according to Royal expert Omid Scobie.
British Royal Family News: Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Still Have A Good Relationship With The Royals
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Omid revealed the apparent distance in communication was due to the Prince Philip’s bad health. He said: “It’s a tough one for Harry and Meghan. They planned this interview before [the queen’s husband] Prince Philip was admitted to the hospital, and, unfortunately, here we are facing the third weekend of him still in the care of the hospital here in London.”
But the latest Meghan scandal broke shortly before Harry and Meghan’s tell-all interview was going to go live. That led to suggestions that any relationships were over for good. However, this is far from the truth. Omid added: “For Harry and Meghan, they have kept a great relationship with Philip and the queen. We heard Harry talking very warmly about his grandfather on James Corden‘s show not so long ago, and I think we’ll hear more of that [during their CBS primetime tell-all].”
So what was the real problem? It seems the couple were more disgruntled with the actual duties and the system they had to abide by instead of the Royals themselves. This was putting a strain on Meghan’s acting career and business ventures that the two have continued to pursue since their departure.
Omid continued: “This is a couple that understands the difference between the machine of the monarchy, the institution, and the family itself. And it’s that family with certain individuals they have a great relationship with.” This would seem to have some credence given that Meghan and Harry still have a great relationship with Princess Eugenie.
After all, the duo did rent out their cottage to the Princess when they moved overseas. And following the Prince’s pregnancy, she has settled down in that area, all thanks to Meghan. Omid then signed off with the following comments: “This idea that people have that they may be throwing the Queen under the bus on national television … is far from the truth.”
