British Royal Family News says this really shouldn’t surprise anyone, but there are some royal fans and critics who are questioning the timing of Oprah’s interview with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle during the same time that Prince Philip has been hospitalized for well over a week now.
With no one really knowing what Prince Philip’s health status is, there are some people who think the interview should be postponed. Others are a little more skeptical over this all. Here’s what you need to know.
British Royal Family News: Royal Fans And Critics Are Questioning The Timing Of Prince Philip’s Hospitalization Amid Harry And Meghan’s Oprah Interview News
According to new reports, Prince Philip has just been transferred to another hospital for treatment over an infection. Seeing how the 99-year-old monarch is preparing to spend yet another week in the hospital, some believe that Harry and Meghan’s interview with the Queen of all Media should be pushed back.
Others can’t help but wonder why the royal family isn’t releasing more details surrounding Prince Philip’s health. Of course, it didn’t take very long for royal fans and critics to speculate on the timing of this all, especially since the details surrounding Prince Philip’s health have been super quiet.
Some comments have included, “I knew the RF was going to pull this stunt. They are trying every means necessary to silence Harry and Meghan but thankfully the interview has already been recorded. All this effort proves to me that they did indeed make life for them unbearable,” along with, “They should be asking why is it beneath the Queen and his wife to ever visit him in the freaking hospital? Pre-COVID or COVID, would it hurt that the wife should a little interest? I’m guessing dying alone is her way of being dutiful. When Danish Queen visited Henrik before he passed, it did not minimize her stateliness.”
Another critic put it this way, “They’re not responsible for his age or his illness. Are they supposed to wait for everybody to die before they can speak? If he dies in close proximity to the air date, won’t CBS reschedule? News organizations by definition have some experience with these situations.”
As of press time, it looks like CBS will air Oprah’s interview with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle on Sunday, March 7th. There has been no indication made that the interview witll be postponed or re-scheduled. Either way, watch this space as we ill
