CBS’ The Young and the Restless’ spoilers find that things are going to get interesting in Genoa City as some old ground is repeated for the sake of storytelling, and are all set for it.
Genoa City seems to be caught in a time warp as things keep finding a way of repeated and no one bothers to learn from the past, and things are going to get heated.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Too far
Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) has been stewing in her mind since her stroke, and her insecurity and knowledge of Adam Newman (Mark Grossman)’s true desire have become a sharp edged weapon.
Fortunately for them, she hasn’t been able to lash out like she’d prefer to, but that may change.
While there’s no denying that Adam loves her, it’s impossible to ignore the bond he and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) have, so he chose to use that to urge Chelsea into fighting.
There have been some rewards as Chelsea twitched a couple of episodes back, albeit when no one could see it, and it looks like Adam’s attempts will bear some poisonous fruit.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers expect Chelsea to be pushed too far by Sharon’s presence, and she’ll either lash out physically, proving Adam right, or she’ll suffer a horrible mental break.
We think it’ll be the latter since it’s been a while since Genoa City was plagued with a psychotic woman bent on keeping someone they care about to themselves.
We’d prefer the other option, but recycling is the way of the soap opera world.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Sally’s secret
Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) has been wanting to make a clean break from her past, but some habits die hard.
She’s always kept secrets close, especially those she thinks may hurt her or be used against her in some way. Because of that survival instinct, she’s going to keep something from Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).
While this has the potential to come back and bite her, especially since Jack’s been there for her as a sounding board and a friend every step of the way.
We do think Jack will understand and move past it when the secret comes out, but he’ll feel betrayed as he thinks they have a bond.
As for the secret, we’re thinking it’s going to be that she’s attracted to him and she doesn’t want anyone to know until she’s proven herself.
